Wang Chaobin & Ai Lin Exhibition

During Jan. 1 to Feb. 29, 2008, Wang Chaobin & Ai Lin Exhibition was held in Don Gallery, Shanghai.
Influenced by 80s' contemporary art, Wang Chaobin is a painter who likes to paint objects and make them his own. Wang's painting "Mugs" makes both an historical statement and work as a visual image. Ailin, as his predecessors Shi Chong and Zeng Fanzhi, are artists who perseveringly explore the inner world of humans. Compared with his early work, Ailin's current work takes an introverted approach to his observations of society. His portraits of flesh and bodies are not just painted with skill, but also with true feeling and experience. To us, although he paints thin on the canvas, he conveys a heavy feeling in his viewer.
