Yang Yongliang
1980 Born in Jiading, Shanghai.
Studied Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy from youth under
Professor Yang Yang of Hongkong Chinese University.
1999 Graduated from Department of the Visual Communications, Shanghai Arts &
Crafts Vocational College.
2003 Graduated from the Department of Visual Communications, Shanghai
Institute of Design, China Academy of Art.
2004 Artistic Director of independent studio. Created experimental short films
and artworks subsequently nominated and prized. Published articles.
His book, entitled Grand Church, was published as teaching material.
2005 Experimentation and creation of contemporary art including modern ink
painting, photography and video art.
2006 Tutored at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Art.
